However, as with any investment, it is important for investors to carefully consider the risks involved and to conduct their own research before making an investment.
Rules For Participating In Launches
Users must have ETH in their wallets to participate as it'll be the main currency we'll use for funds raising event on AlienFi
Contribute your ETH in the new launches by keeping the total raised funds in mind as the launches are based on the overflow method
Must DYOR before investing in any of the launches
Fundraising event will run for 12 hours, make sure you contribute within the time limit
It's not FCFS which means you’ll have the complete 12 hours to contribute your ETH and it doesn’t matter if you contribute in the first hour or in the last hour
You can contribute as little or as much as you want, there's no max limit
Any unspent ETH will be returned back to you
Overflow Method
The fundraising mechanism we use on AlienFi is the overflow method, which ensures a fair distribution of new tokens to a wide range of investors and provides flexibility of time to the investors.
The overflow method is not FCFS which means investors can contribute their ETH anytime as long as the fundraising event is live.
Total contribution amount can exceed 100% of the Hard Cap and users will get tokens according to the following formula:
(ETH Contributed By You/Total ETH Contributed) * Number of tokens up for sale
The unspent ETH will be returned back to you when you claim the sale tokens.
For example
Suppose $SPACE token is going to launch on AlienFi with the hard cap of $200,000 in ETH and a total of 500,000 $SPACE tokens are available for the fundraising event at the price of $0.4 per token.
The fundraising event goes live for 12 hours and you contribute $2,000 in ETH within the 12 hours time limit.
Scenario 1 After 12 hours are completed, the fundraising event ends with the total raise of $422,000 in ETH which is 211% of the hard cap. According to the overflow formula:
(2000/422000) * 500000 = 236.966 You get 2,369.66 $SPACE tokens for $947.86 and your unspent ETH balance will be sent back to your wallet when you claim $SPACE tokens.
Scenario 2 After 12 hours are completed, the fundraising event ends with the total raise of $150,000 in ETH which is 75% of the hard cap. In this situation, all of your contributed ETH will be spent and you’ll receive 5,000 $SPACE tokens.
As 1 $SPACE token = $0.4 and you contributed $2,000 in ETH
So, 2000/0.4 = 5000 $SPACE tokens
Contribution Eligibility
To be able to contribute in the sales on AlienFi launchpad you'll need to perform the following important steps which will make you eligible to participate:
Lock 500 $ALIEN tokens in Time Lock stake $ALIEN to earn $ALIEN pool.
Lock duration must be 4 weeks minimum, you can increase the duration if you want. If your lock duration is expiring before 4 weeks then you won't be eligible for the contribution.
These tokens must be locked before the screenshot is taken, screenshot will be taken 5 days prior to launch.
